A fatal road accident along Ubakala axis of the Enugu/Port Harcourt express way has left four people crushed beyond recognition. The accident scene were more than four lost their lives.
Four were confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Umuahia, Abia State. Toyota Hilux van with registration number CG 539RSH, a Peugeot J5 bus with registration No XA 874 AKW, and a Mercedes Benz tipper with registration no EGG 555 YG were all involved in the fatal accident.
According to one of the victims identified as Abdulhamid Abubakar, the accident was caused by the driver of the Hilux van who was overspeeding.
Abubakar disclosed that he was traveling from Lafia, Nasarawa state to Aba with his three friends to sell bags of garden eggs and oranges in the Peugeot J5 when the accident happened.
