The Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation for Tinubu (LACOT) has reaffirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State remains cohesive and free of internal crisis, warning individuals attempting to stir discord to desist immediately.

In a statement issued by its chairman, Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, the group described the recently concluded state congress as peaceful and well-organized, stressing that the outcome reflected the unity and strength of the party in the state.

Okeyomi dismissed speculation of factional leadership, declaring that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is the recognized leader of the APC in Ondo State. He maintained that there is no room for parallel authority within the party structure and cautioned those promoting contrary narratives to abandon divisive tendencies.

The group accused certain individuals of fueling unnecessary tension due to personal political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general elections. It urged members to remain focused on consolidating party gains rather than engaging in actions capable of undermining stability.

LACOT also reiterated its commitment to delivering strong support for President Bola Tinubu in the next election cycle, expressing confidence that Ondo State will stand firmly behind the party’s national leadership. The organisation further encouraged Governor Aiyedatiwa to continue prioritizing governance and development across the state without distraction.
