Matthew Lane Durham, 21 year old was convicted for sexually abusing children at an orphanage in Kenya, a federal judge in Oklahoma has sentenced him to 40 years in jail in an Oklahoma court.

U.S. District Judge David L. Russell called the crimes heinous. In addition to the 40 year prison term, Durham has also been ordered to pay restitution of $15,863 by the judge.[/quote_box_center]
Durham didn’t show any emotion when he was sentenced on Monday morning, March 7th. He was sentenced on each of four counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places.
A jury had found him guilty and convicted him in June on seven counts of abuse, but the judge acquitted Durham of three of the counts in January 2016.
