Pro-Palestinian Activists Vandalise Glasgow Office Over Alleged Israel Links

Pro-Palestinian activists have vandalised an insurance company’s office in Glasgow, targeting the building over alleged business ties to Israeli defence interests. The incident occurred in the early hours of April 16, 2026, at the Sentinel building on Waterloo Street, where masked individuals smashed windows and spray-painted slogans across the premises.

Video footage circulating online shows three hooded suspects using hammers and a sledgehammer to damage glass panels, while also spraying red paint and graffiti messages including accusations that the firm was complicit in violence in the Middle East. The targeted company is reportedly linked to providing insurance services to firms connected with Israeli military technology, including drone manufacturing.

The activists claimed responsibility, stating their actions were intended to disrupt operations and highlight what they described as corporate involvement in conflicts affecting civilians in regions such as Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. They also warned that similar actions would continue unless such business relationships are severed. Confirmed it received a report of damage to the building at approximately 2:35am and said investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been announced so far.

The Glasgow incident follows similar attacks on related offices in London, Birmingham, and Manchester earlier this year, suggesting a coordinated campaign targeting companies accused of links to Israel’s defence sector.
