Real Madrid signs Luka Jovic in £51m deal with Eintracht Frankfurt. The striker has secured a great deal with Europe’s biggest clubs.
Although Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic refuses to report that a deal on the transfer has been secured, media in Spain had claimed that the two clubs had agreed a €60 million (£51m/$67m) deal for the 21-year-old, who has scored 26 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions this season.
Even with the reports saying Real Madrid signs Luka Jovic, Bobic has forcefully denied the most recent claims of a completed deal insisting there have been no discussions.
“There has been no contact with Real Madrid,” Bobic told ESPN FC. “For once, I don’t have to use a white lie, they really haven’t been in touch yet. I know them very well.”
Last month, Real Madrid moved to sign Paul Pogba with the launch of launch ‘Operation Pogba’. The Premier League giants are aware that Pogba desires Madrid, but they are going to do everything in their power to keep hold of their superstar. There have already been contract renewals offered to the 26-year-old through his agent, Mino Raiola, and the message the club are putting out is that the midfielder is non-transferable.
