The amount reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West paid to have a baby through a surrogate has been revealed.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star opted for surrogacy after she was diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening placenta accreta.
This made her hire a surrogate mother for a baby which will be due to arrive this May.
The amount paid for the surrogacy is estimated according to the amount Kim Kardashian paid when she had Chicago West.
She reportedly paid $68,850 for the privilege of them finding the right carrier for their baby.
The surrogate who was sorted by Kim herself received $45,000 in total, which was paid in 10 $4,500 (£3,387) monthly installments.
A payment plan was also put in place should the pregnancy result on twins or triplets.
