Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council has reacted to Gbenga Daniel’s support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun ahead of March 9 governorship and state houses of assembly elections.

DAILY POST reports that Gbenga Daniel,Atiku Abubakar’s campaign Director-General, on Thursday declared support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun ahead of March 9 governorship and state houses of assembly elections.

PDP’s Gbenga Daniel declares support for Ogun APC candidate, Dapo Abiodun, gives reasons

He made the statement on Thursday at the Remo Resource Centre.

Daniel, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), speaking on Thursday at the Remo Resource Center said his decision and call on his supporters to vote for Abiodun on Saturday, followed Ladi Adebutu’s loss at the court on Wednesday.

Adebutu popularly known as Lado lost his bid for the PDP ticket to Buruji Kashamu.

Reacting, Keyamo took to his Twitter page saying the ‘wise ones in opposition party are re-aligning with winners before 2023’

He wrote: “Whilst the wise ones are already re-aligning with the winners ahead of 2023, some
eternally bitter ones are still trapped in the emotions surrounding the loss of their hero on Feb. 23rd & are still clicking and spewing hatred and bile from their politically ineffectual keyboards.”
