Ex-governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao Akala has rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, after a meeting with Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the party.
He visited Tinubu in company of his wife, Mrs Oluwakemi Alao-Akala; his son, Olamiju and the Director General of his campaign, Mr Wale Ohu, at Bourdillon this afternoon.
Akala rejoins party after dumping the Action Democratic Party, ADP. Recall that he left the All Progressives Congress, APC, in October, 2018, after he failed to grab the governorship ticket at the party’s primaries.
The ex-governor ruled Oyo State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party but failed to secure a second term in 2011.
