An attack is currently ongoing in Maro, a community in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State.
According to a witness who spoke to press, armed men numbering about 200 stormed the area, moving from one community to the other attacking and burning everything in sight.
“I’m not sure who they are because we don’t see their face as most of us were not in our houses when they arrived, but we can see flames emanating from our houses,” the witness told Daily Sun via telephone at about 10:00am.
“As at now, I cannot give you any figure because these assailants are still much around.”
Daily Sun reports that Security Authorities are yet to confirm this development and have not responded to short messages sent to their mobile lines.
However, Kaduna Police spokesman DSP Yakubu Sabo promised to get back information.
