As the 2019 general elections draw close, youth organisations and political groups in Oyi/Ayamelu Federal Constituency in Anambra state have mounted support for the candidacy of Barr. Ekene Ofumelu, of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The growing support, mobilization from youths and call to duty from residents of Oyi/Ayamelu Federal constituency have built a soft landing for Barr. Ekene Ofumelu in the green Chambers of the national assembly ahead of the 2019 elections.
Barr. Ekene has promised to deliver good governance and lead a remarkable representation for the Oyi/Ayamelu Constituency at the Federal house of representative in Abuja. He stated that, if elected, he would ensure that policies, projects and sustainable initiatives are discussed and approved to promote development in the Constituency.
However, the “Restoration” Initiative of Barr. Ofumelu may have commenced as he continues to provide food, clothes and other basic needs for residents in the community to help them live a better and patriotic life.
He has also promised to provide empowerment programs to support youths and ensure that they make significant impact in growth and development of their local communities.
