A mild drama on Friday ensued when Miss Congo, Dorcas Kasinde’s wig caught fire durng the Miss Africa 2018 beauty pageant.

DAILY POST had reported that 24-year-old Dorcas Kasinde beat other contestants to win the crown.

Miss Nigeria came second while Miss Zambia came third.

But, in a viral video, the beauty queen, who was excited after being crowned Miss Africa 2018, was celebrating her victory, She was hugging her predecessor when her wig caught fire.

The fireworks used to celebrate her victory led to the accident.

However, the show host, Ebuka came to her rescue before more damage could be done.
