A Justice of the Peace courtroom in Lagos has ordered three Senior Secondary Faculty 1 (SS1) college students (names withheld), who allegedly gang-defiled their 15-year-old classmate be remanded in a juvenile house.
The state police had dragged the youngsters, aged: 16, 16 and 14 years earlier than the courtroom on a four-count cost bordering on conspiracy, illegal canal information, sexual assault and defilement.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Hafsat Ajibode, advised the courtroom that the boys dedicated the offences in July 2018 at Makoko Space of Lagos State. She stated that the boys gang-defiled their 15-year-old classmate at her resident.
“The boys claimed that they came around their feminine classmate at her home whereas her mother and father weren’t round. They supplied her a drink which was suspected to include some sleeping drugs and that was the final the woman remembered when she turned acutely aware. When she regained consciousness, she found that she was Unclad and bleeding whereas the boys had disappeared.
She raised the alarm which led to the arrest of the accused. The woman has since been traumatized and hospitalized on account of the incident,” she stated.
Sgt. Ajibode stated that the offences contravened Sections 260 (1) (2) (4), 261, 263 (1) and 411 of the Felony Regulation of Lagos State, 2015. The case was adjourned till Jan.16 for point out.
