As reported by People, the star couple will welcome the young sprout in 2019. They also have three children – five-year-old North, three-year-old Saint, and baby Chicago will turn one month in January.

The 38-year-old Kim told sources last year that they aren’t “in a huge rush” to expand their family, but it appears as though they’ve changed their minds. The source said at the time that “Chicago is still little,” and added:

“They have time. They would use the same surrogate if she agrees to help them again. Kim can’t say enough kind words about the surrogate. They absolutely would use the surrogate again. They love her.”

Kim confirmed the rumours back in August when she told E! News that she was “open to the idea” and that it would be included on Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” as they are currently filming season 16. So fans have that to look forward to.

Kim also had only good things to say about surrogacy, describing it as the best decision she’s ever made. She explained that it gives her more time to spend with her kiddos:

“I would have maybe one more [child]. I really, really enjoyed the surrogacy process. I will say, when it came to the breastfeeding time, I was like, ‘Okay, this is the best decision I ever made.’ It’s a game changer, having to not go through [nursing] every few hours. I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them used to the baby.”

The couple opted for surrogacy after her first two pregnancies were complicated. She’d had several miscarriage scares, and both pregnancies carried its own set of medical complications.

They had one embryo left after their first successful surrogate pregnancy which gave them baby Chicago, and the couple had now used that male embryo. Sources claim that the baby is due in May 2019.
