He mentioned:

“I recognise the defendants as those that tried to kidnap the chairman of Younger Shall Develop motors, Chief Obianuju Vincent,  someday in 2013.

“The YSG chairman was coming back from a recreation home alongside Festac City when his convoy was attacked by closely armed males led by Evans.

“Through the assault, the YSG chairman was shot in the appropriate arm whereas his driver, one Mr Peter Nweke,  was shot lifeless. One among his escorts, Chijoke Ngozi (feminine),  was additionally shot lifeless.

“Throughout a gun duel between the chairman’s police escorts and the gang, three of the gang members had been shot lifeless by Inspector Solomon Igwe, whereas the remainder fled  the scene.

“Two rifles belonging to the gang members had been later recovered by the Festac Police Division, the place the case was reported and the corpses had been later eliminated by the police.
