Ebonyi state authorities, yesterday informed Federal authorities that the State has no land for cattle ranching.
The federal authorities had some days in the past listed Ebonyi as among the many ten states which have offered land for cattle ranch.
However addressing journalists after the state Govt Council assembly, the state Commissioner for Agriculture, Barrister Ikechukwu Nwobo informed the federal authorities that there was no vacant land for cattle ranch within the state.
Nwobo mentioned “the state govt council frowned on the information making rounding that the State has directed or offered for a cattle ranche in Ebonyi State.
