In March 2018, Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren took to the stage to deliver the keynote presentation at the Nelson Mandela Leadership Awards which held in Africa’s buzzing economic capital of Lagos. Confident and cracking jokes, the young executive and serial enterpreneur seemed so much at ease with the beaming audience, comprising industry leaders, the media, youth leaders, celebrities and admirers. The creative media mogul is attempting to shift the conversation past the success of Carel Films, a motion pictures conglomerate which he founded in 2015 and has successfully smashed bookmaker’s predictions, setting financial records and breaking them, industry-wide.

Carel Films, one of his companies has so far won several awards as the best media production firm not only in Nigeria, but beyond Africa to the global stage. It was originally inspired by the rising need for gospel music videos to rise above mediocrity and produce quality videos that would compete anywhere in the world. That drive birthed the new revolution in christian media, encouraging the young entrepreneur who had functioned mostly in the tech business where he ran NETSAT which was already making big waves and earning even bigger bucks and a world-wide following.

”The rise and rise of Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren” is one article too many, which has dominated the headlines of the tabloids and online soft sell magazines recently. From Africa’s buzzing economic capital of Lagos to Johanesburg, the UK, United States and the rest of the world, the spotlight is on this young luminary whose enterpreneurial acumen is next to none. Leadership institutions have long sought after his double-edged insights and cutting edge ideas,  cutting across varying fields and industries, while postulating solutions and systems that will transform businesses into multi million dollar ventures.

Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren is seen in the light of a visonary leader whose advisory is capable of leading a people or organisation to a better welfare and improved standard of living. International organisations, agencies and bodies are now begining to beckon on the young luminary, seeking ideas and model solutions to better their structures and entrench quality and systematic leadership in their various organisations. In reality, these organisations watched and applauded as the new age leadership in Daysman showcased through the companies and humanitarian initiatives he had founded.

To this end, the Nelson Mandela Leadership Institute among other reputable organisations have conferred awards on Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren. Among the most recent are:

  • The Nelson Mandela African Leadership Award on humanitarian services and societal development per excellence.
  • Patron of Nigerian Students by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) an award whose only recipient had been the Former President Goodluck Jonathan.
