A political stalwart in Ihiala Local Government, Tokas Onuzulike on the behalf of the conglomeration of youths stated that they have vowed to ensure that the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State will be devoid of violence and electoral malpractice in their area.
He said this while receiving PPA gubernatorial candidate, Godwin Chukwunaenye Ezeemo and his team during their ward and local government tour in Ihiala LGA, the youths said that they have been able to organise themselves across both formal and informal enclaves and have unanimously agreed they would no longer be agents of violence in the hands of desperate politicians.
On his part, the president of Ihiala Youth Volunteer Movement, IYVM, Engr. Mike Okwy Mbaeyi, while recounting several investments Godwin Ezeemo has in Anambra State, called on Ihiala people to come out en masse and stand by their in-law, Ezeemo and his party, PPA.
“…God has given us a wonderful and golden opportunity…Ndi Anambra, say no to Jacob’s porridge because it kills,”he said.
The DG of Ezeemo campaign team, Dr. Chira Obiora told the teeming crowd of Ihiala LGA people that came out to receive the campaign team that they cannot afford to make any mistake in the upcoming elections and advised them to ensure they vote PPA which is the only party fielding candidates that have a stake in the state.
