A senior bank officer based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, identified as Adewale Adesanya, has been killed by unidentified gunmen in Ahoada area of Rivers State. Friends described Wale who hails from Ijebu Ode in Ogun State as a socialite, well known in Yenagoa.

Persons in the vehicle with the victim identified as Haruna and Samson were said to be known by the family and friends of the deceased.
