President Buhari has threatened to deal mercilessly with those behind the act. Buhari made the threat while speaking with Nigerians residing in Dubai earlier today.

The president declared that all telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria must abide to the rules and guidelines of the Nigerian Communications Commission in this regard. In the same vein, he warned telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria not to place their desire for huge profits above the security needs of the country.
