The Governorship election in Kogi which was slated for Nov 21 and that of Bayelsa which also comes up by Dec 5, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), cleared 42 aspirants for the upcoming governorship election.

According to the bulletin, 22 candidates with their running mate from 22 registered political parties would contest the poll in Kogi.
