Following the nominations of Davido, Yemi Alade, AKA and Diamond Platnumz for the Best African Act category of the 2015 MTV EMA award, organisers have announced that there is still one available slot left.

However, the fifth nominee will have to be voted for by fans. To this end, MTV has announced that voters have until today to vote for the remaining nominee.

In contention for the slot are Wizkid, K.O., Stonebwoy, Cassper Nyovest and DJ Arafat. Organisers say that fans can vote via Twitter using the #MTVEMA and the artist’s hashtag.

Accordingly, fans can tweet and vote for one of the following artists to be the fifth Best African Act nominee using #MTVEMA and the artist’s hashtag: ‘#NominateWizkid, #NominateKO, #NominateStonebwoy, #NominateCassper and #NominateDJArafat.)

Wildcard winners and nominees in all 2015 MTV EMA categories will be announced tomorrow while the show proper will broadcast live on MTV (DStv channel 130) and MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on Sunday 25 October at 21:00 WAT/22:00 CAT from the Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
