Ecoheroes Africa project is an African Youth Food Security and Climate Change Ambassador Program. The project targets young people aged 14 – 35years from across Africa who work as Ambassadors to halt climate change while ensuring food security. For 10years, we will work with 5000Ambassadors to plant 10million trees and set up 1000 community/ school gardens in 10 years. The AYFSCCAP will also mentor and train 1000 youths across Africa on agribusiness.
Every year, AYOSA selects 500 youth ambassadors passionate about Climate change and food security to plant 1million fruit trees and set 100schools gardens. In addition, AYOSA train 100selected youth on entrepreneurship, regenerative agriculture, and agricultural enterprise development.
Outstanding ambassadors receive a mini-grant of $100 – 250$ to support their school garden project in addition to other benefits enlisted for the ambassadors.
