He is reported to be the only son of his parents and nothing has been heard of him since his abduction by the members of the sect.

The man who gave the report wrote:

Abraham Amuta is a Corp member serving in Maiduguri. He was abducted by Boko Haram 2 weeks ago. He went for evangelism with a pastor from his church – Living Faith. He is an only son. Let’s not forget him in our prayers.

The corps member was however blamed for his action by social media users, knowing fully well the region is a volatile one. They believed he should have threaded with caution and focus on his national assignment.

See some reactions:

*** Seriously. Why will you be doing that in war zone ? Don’t make sense to me but we pray for his safety.

*** He was abducted while trying to share relief materials. Unless you have something against him doing that in a “war” zone.

*** I have everything against that, even the people benefitting from the crises don’t go an inch without a complete military escorts and clearance. Thou shall not temp the lord your God

*** Why re we blaming him? no need for the blame game. When Paul and Banarbas were arrested, there was no blame game! Rather church gathered and prayed!! Stop blaming and start praying!

While responding to the above comment, a user wrote:

***God will bless you sir. People are too careful to stand for God and they want God to stand for them. John was beheaded not cos he did wrong. Paul and Silas and even Peter suffered such. They went to give relief materials and they were abducted not on evangelism.
