Ronaldo speaks about what he would do when he retires

Juventus star player, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he has plans to go into coaching the moment he retires from football.

When asked recently if he would consider becoming a coach after retirement, Ronaldo said “Why not?”

“The first thing I do when I get to a new club is to be myself, not anything else,” Ronaldo added.

“My work ethic is always the same. You must be humble and remember that you don’t know everything.

“If you’re smart, you catch the little things that improve you as an athlete. I adapted perfectly at Juve. They’ve seen that I’m not a fraud.

“Only football and normal things have been talked about in the dressing rooms I’ve been in, nothing more or less.”

The 34-year old recently helped Juventus win their eighth Serie A title in a row a few weeks ago. The feat saw him become the first-ever player in football history to win domestic titles in England, Spain and Italy.

In 2017, the star player ruled out possibilities of taking up a coaching role.

“It is difficult to say what I will do in the future, but one thing is clear to me: I like to live in the present,” the striker said in an interview with Nike.

“I know I will not be young forever, I do not see myself as a coach today.”
