Previous Story (April 15):

YG is dealing with tough times due to his dear friend Nipsey Hussle passing away in an untimely and shocking manner two weeks ago.

Shortly after Nipsey Hussle’s death, YG had announced that he was planning to release a surprise album on April 12th which he will not be doing anymore as he was still dealing with pain. “Now that we gotta deal with Big bro goin to heaven I will not drop the album this month. Pushing it to May, Sorry!” he said.

But the Def Jam rapper now has a fresh release date for the yet untitled album. YG was one of the performers on Sunday at Coachella festival where he played an energetic set and of course paid a tribute to Nipsey. He also brought out special guests, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and Mustard for ‘Big Bank’. During his performance, the Compton emcee told the crowd that his fourth album, the follow up to the Gold certified Stay Dangerous, will now release on May 3rd. Watch his announcement above.

He also debuted a brand new song called ‘Stop Snitching’ with incarcerated artist Tekashi 6ix9ine being displayed on the backdrop. Get a taste of it below.
