Police Intelligence Response Unit (IRT) have arrested Mallam Salisu Abubakar, a spiritual father in connection to the Kaduna Expressway Kidnappings and other heinous crimes.
The IRT and other operatives attached to Operation Puff Adder arrested the 48yrs old native of Dutsinma LGA, Katsina State, who confessed to be the spiritual father of kidnappers terrorizing Abuja-Kaduna expressway and parts of other North-West/North-Central States of the Country,
He was arrested on 16th April, 2019, after an intelligence and subsequent manhunt was carried out on his hideout, a forest at Galadimawa Village, Kaduna State.
The suspect is implicated for aiding and abetting the commission of several high-profile armed robbery and kidnapping operations.
The arrest of the suspect notorious for providing spiritual guidance and intelligence for kidnappers, will no doubt, will assist Police operatives to apprehend several other kidnappers who are still at large.
