Excited football fans in Asaba, swarmed all over players of the Super Eagles, after their training session on Wednesday.
Two of the squad members who required extra security were Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Ahmed Musa, who now plays in Saudi Arabia.
This was revealed by Debola Adebanjo of the BBC via Twitter.
“The fans in Asaba stood in that ‘guard of honour’ line for when the Super Eagles team all walked out of the stadium after training.
“Ahmed Musa and Alex Iwobi walked out last because they needed extra security to join up to help them out.
“Fans went mental,” Adebanjo tweeted.
