A paedophile identified as Lambert Ighodaro has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in Edo state.
Lambert Ighodaro was handed the sentence after being convicted by a Evbuoriaria Magistrate Court, for defiling a 12 year old school girl in Edo State.
According to the school girl who narrated her ordeals to her class teacher, the convict had been sexually abusing her since 2017, during school hours.
The teacher later reported the case to the State Universal Basic Education Board, which swung into action by reporting to the police, who immediately apprehended and arraigned the suspect.
