President Buhari has appointed Liman Alhaji Ibrahim, as the new acting Controller General (CG) of the Federal Fire Service (FFF).
Until his appointed, Liman Alhaji Ibrahim was the Assistant Controller General in charge of Policy, Regulatory and Inspectorate.
His appointment follows the retirement of his predecessor, Engr Joseph Anebi whose six months extended tenure elapsed yesterday, February 28, 2018.
It is the first appointment Buhari is making since winning re-election as President in Saturday’s presidential election.
He is also expected to dissolve his cabinet before his swearing in for second term.
The Presidency yesterday revealed that Buhari is set to dissolve his cabinet before his inauguration for a second term in office on 29 May.
Spokesman for Buhari Femi Adesina, in an interview on Arise TV, said the president was expected to officially dissolve his cabinet at the expiration of his first tenure.
