South African pastor denies resurrecting dead man lailasnews

South African pastor, Alph Lukau, has denied resurrecting a dead man, saying he doesn’t have such powers.

The Alleluia Ministries church pastor, argues that the man was alive when he arrived at the church.

Alph Lukau at an interview with Thabiso Tema on PowerFM’s Power Drive, said he was preaching when he was informed that a man in a coffin had been brought to church by his family.

“Before entering the premises of the church, the coffin began to shake, meaning the person was alive,” Lukau explained.

As soon as he was informed that he was alive, he prayed for him causing the man to get up from the coffin.

Radio host Tema questioned why the family brought the man to his church. In response, he said,

“I am not sure if I can make a statement that he was brought to me. We are the house of God and I’m just a pastor serving in the house of the Lord.”

It is noteworthy to add that the church has issued a statement claiming that Lukau did not resurrect the man.

On another hand, the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Commission) has said the pastor will appear before the commission to explain what had happened.
