Bauchi guber: APC chieftain predicts victory for PDP, gives reason

2019: APC reacts as Court restrains INEC from recognizing its candidate in Rivers

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State, Nasiru Darazo has predicted that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will defeat APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election bill for Saturday.

He slammed the APC-led administration in the state for totally failing its citizens for absence of meaningful development.

Darazo made this prediction while addressing reporters in Bauchi Friday.

He stated that PDP’s chances of wining the governorship election is glaring, attributable to the abysmal disappointment of the people in the APC.

“APC administration in Bauchi state is awaiting its exit from power during the gubernatorial election having perpetually failed to fulfil its campaign promises for improved development,” he said.

Darazo warned the electoral umpire and security agencies to shun their tacit support for rigging in favour of the ruling party.

He wondered why INEC has hellbent on denying Nigerians their right to elect credible politicians, “because of pressure from the above”.

“Bauchi citizens cannot afford to fold their hands watching INEC declare APC winner of Saturday’s guber election when strong indication has emerged that PDP will win following the support against the ruling party in the state,” the APC chieftain claimed.

Darazo reiterated that the APC administration has woefully failed to deliver on its promises since inception and cannot be voted again.

He however sued for calmness among the youths, saying only when there is peace can a credible election be achieved.
