Below is a picture of Nala, the dog owned by late Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala, looking heartbroken as he waits to say his last goodbye at its owner’s funeral.
The funeral held in the footballer’s hometown of Progreso in Argentina, with Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock among those who attended.
Many of those present noticed the dog, a black Labrador, at the entrance of where the funeral service was held for Emiliano Sala.
Nala was gotten shortly before the player made a move to Nantes in 2015 and regularly shares pictures of the both of them on social media.
Emiliano Sala died in a plane crash that occurred on January 22 while on his way to join his new team Cardiff City.
