The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has stated that political parties in Nigeria can resume campaign. This was made known via the body’s Twitter handle on Monday.

INEC okays for political parties to resume campaign

This is following talks by some political parties to resume campaign since the presidential election got postponed to February 23rd.

INEC however stated that all political campaigns must come to an end on or before the 21st of February which is on Thursday.

The body had postponed the presidential election which was to hold last Saturday with claims that they had logistics problem.

They postponed the election barely 6 hours to its commencement.
