Suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, has finally arrived the Code of Conduct Tribunal for his arraignment.
His arrival is in compliance with the warrant of arrest issued against him on Wednesday by the Danladi Umar-led tribunal over an allegation of non-assets declaration that culminated in his suspension by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Onnoghen who was suspended by President Buhari on January 25th, is being arraigned over his alleged false declaration of assets.
Since the beginning of his trial, Onnoghen has refused to appear before the CCT on grounds that the tribunal lacks jurisdiction to hear his case.
DAILY POST reports that Onnoghen is now in the premises of the tribunal but has not yet alighted from his official Prado SUV.
Security arrangement has been beefed up around the premises as Onnoghen is possibly awaiting the commencement of the tribunal before stepping out of the vehicle.
