A Nigerian man in UK who admitted raping and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl he befriended online, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Simon Owoade, 50, was sentenced to 9 years and 10 months’ imprisonment at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday, 17 January, 2019, after pleading guilty to: Rape of a child under 13 years;
Assault of a child under 13 years by penetration; Sexual assault of a child under 13 years and Three counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
He is not eligible for parole and he has also been placed on the sexual offenders register for life.
