Nigeria’s literary icon, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has recognized what could deliver a few third World Battle.
The Nobel Laureate, who spoke at a symposium in Abuja on Wednesday, recognized faux information as a menace to mankind.
Soyinka exposes what could trigger third world conflict
Soyinka mentioned that over the past Presidential election he was quoted as saying that it serves former President, Goodluck Jonathan proper for marrying an illiterate after he misplaced on the polls.
He mentioned:
“I’ve said this before that fake news may cause World War 3 and the fake news will be started by a Nigerian.”
He added:
“Over the last Presidential election I used to be quoted as saying that it serves President Jonathan proper for marrying an illiterate.
“Generally some folks quote me as saying when you vote for a specific candidate, your mom is a goat or your father is a gorilla.”
