The Peoples Democratic Get together Presidential Marketing campaign Group, PPCO, has challenged the co-Chairman of the APC Presidential Marketing campaign Council, “Bola Tinubu, to explain his role in the President Muhammadu Buhari Presidency cabal” that has “crippled our nation’s economy.”
PPCO dares Tinubu to reply to allegations that he agreed to steer Buhari’s marketing campaign staff, following alleged “threats by agents of the Buhari Presidency to expose and prosecute him for corruption allegations and not because he believes in the propriety of President Buhari’s re-election.”
An announcement by PPCO spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan stated “It is rather unlucky that on the time Nigerians, throughout the board, are boldly jettisoning their private pursuits and becoming a member of within the quest to rescue our nation from President Buhari’s incompetent, corrupt, divisive
and anti-people regime, a pacesetter of Asiwaju’s standing is chasing private pursuits and self-preservation.
“Nigerians can recall how Asiwaju in January 2018, on the 15th Annual Each day Belief Dialogue rejected the Buhari administration’s nepotism, incompetence, corrupt oil subsidy regime; blamed it for the high-level of poverty in our nation and urged Nigerians to be guided by their
conscience in electing leaders within the 2019 common elections.
“Berating the Buhari administration, Asiwaju held that “too much political and economic power resides in the hands of too few. This result in a society described by too much unemployment, inadequate infrastructure, too little food, yet too much poverty.”
“Asiwaju had also rightly posited that, under President Buhari, “rather than becoming a joyous nation, Nigeria has become a cruel playground where the fears and concerns of the average person get exploited but their interests never get promoted.”
“He then concluded by urging Nigerians to follow their conscience in the 2019 elections by resisting “unthinking passions and old prejudices”, which is the hallmark of President Buhari’s re-election marketing campaign.
“The query Nigerians are asking now could be, what has all of a sudden modified in President Buhari’s management model to warrant Asiwaju’s full circle flip.
“Nigerians have seen that Asiwaju’s involvement in Buhari 2019 marketing campaign is just not motivated by any nationwide and even regional pursuits however by private causes removed from the overall good.
“Whereas we perceive the frustration being confronted by Asiwaju on this unlucky activity of selling a rejected product, we warning him to watch out to not permit the ill-fated Buhari Presidency to destroy no matter is left of the respect he has earned amongst Nigerians, who’ve already made up their minds to rally behind the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as the following President of Nigeria.
“Asiwaju, by now, would have famous how Nigerians berate him every time he lends himself as a instrument within the fingers of the Buhari Presidency to solid aspersions on Atiku Abubakar.
“We, due to this fact, counsel Asiwaju to be conscious of his standing within the pantheon of leaders and observe that he’s not with Nigerians in his new enterprise, for which he now must clear his title over alleged involvement within the anti-people cabal on the Buhari Presidency.
“We also want to caution Tinubu on his penchant for making unsubstantiated allegations against our candidate, Atiku Abubakar.”
PPCO insisted that the previous Lagos State governor has “no ethical rectitude upon which he can stand to make allegations in opposition to Atiku.
“He should control his emotions and ensure that he desists from making frivolous allegations against Atiku Abubakar, whom Nigerians have resolved to elect as President, come 2019,” the assertion added.
