A member of the Peoples Democratic Social gathering, PDP, Board of Trustees, BoT, Kaulaha Aliyu, has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Aliyu disclosed his defection to APC after another defectors accompanied the Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar to a closed-door assembly with President Muhammadu Buhari on the Presidential Villa, Abuja, yesterday, Information Company of Nigeria, NAN, experiences.
Addressing State Home Correspondents after the closed-door assembly, the previous PDP BoT member enjoined the APC to make sure President Buhari emerges victorious within the forthcoming common elections.
“It’s a matter of principles – I believe among all the candidates nobody can come near the integrity and honesty of President Buhari and with what he has done to the North East in particular, I feel I should support him and do the best I can for him to emerge victorious come Feb. 16, 2019,” he stated.
