Pentagon Chief of Workers Kevin Sweeney has resigned, only a month after the Defence Secretary James Mattis introduced his resignation.
Rear Adm. Kevin Sweeney who gave no motive for his resignation in a quick assertion, is now the third senior Pentagon official to announce his resignation since President Donald Trump introduced US forces would go away Syria.
Pentagon Chief of Workers Kevin Sweeney acknowledged that it had been “an honour to serve” alongside his colleagues within the division, however made no point out of Mr Trump in his resignation letter.
“After two years in the Pentagon, I’ve decided the time is right to return to the private sector. It has been an honor to serve again alongside the men and women of the Department of Defense,” Sweeney stated in his announcement.
