Chairman of the INEC Committee on Collation Centre for the final elections, Amina Zakari, has debunked experiences that she is a relation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Zakari in an interview with BBC, mentioned the allegation that President Buhari is her Uncle is unfounded and completely false.
Recall that Zakari made information on Thursday final week when the electoral physique, INEC, introduced she can be the pinnacle of the coallation for the presidential election.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is my President as [he is] everybody else’s President. He is not my cousin, he is not my uncle as is being claimed,” Zakari mentioned within the BBC interview
Whereas rejecting the claims, Zakari defined that she had finished her job diligently over time with out scandal or blame. She identified that she was first appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010 and served as a Particular Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo previous to that.
“I have done my job conscientiously over the years as a patriotic citizen of Nigeria. I don’t think I should be distracted now that elections are coming forward. I will continue doing my work. I will continue serving my country to the best of my ability with the best of intentions.”
She famous that she had all the time been a part of INEC activirtes together with the 2015 presidential electoon which President Buhari, her supposed uncle, misplaced to Jonathan.
