The Police in Lagos has arrested a pair who specialises in trafficking women and coercing them to sleep with males for cash.
Ikechukwu Egbulefu, 27, and Vera John, 26, function Wagbas Resort, Ajah, Lagos, they usually have of their custody: Helen Dickson, 22; Deborah David, 18 and Chinwendu Oyekachi, 18, whom they lured into prostitution after promising to assist them get respectable jobs.

“The victims narrated that they were taken to a shrine in Epe and made to take an oath that they would not abscond from the hotel. The painful aspect was that after sleeping with various men, they surrendered the proceeds to John.”
Narrating her personal story, Chinwedu stated that she got here to Lagos with the hope of being a gross sales woman. She stated:
“I met Vera in our city and later turned associates. Vera advised me she would assist me to get job in Lagos as a salesgirl. .
I joined her with out informing my dad and mom. After I obtained to Lagos, she advised me that the out there job was prostitution. I advised her that I wasn’t and she or he stated she wouldn’t assist me with a refund to my village. .
