Ex Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Nina has made a strong political statement with her birthday photoshoot.
Big Brother Naija ‘Double Wahala’ finalist Nina Ivy turned 22 today with her friends and family wishing her a happy 22nd birthday.
To celebrate, she released new photos using her creativity to jump on the “THIS IS NIGERIA” trend.
She posted a picture which showed her being threatened by a armed police officer, though she looked like she was going to fall, she still gestured at the officer to stop.
She also accompanied the photo with a powerful caption. She wrote;
‘we will not be bullied by trolls, intimated by oppressors, weakened by haters nor fear SARS or the government we are a democracy, and the youths of this nation have a voice, it’s in our generation we must turn this country around’
Earlier today, Big Brother Naija season 3 winner, Miracle received serious bashing on his Instagram timeline after wishing Nina a happy birthday.
He took to his page this morning to wish Nina a happy birthday, but his fans believed the message was so cold and poorly constructed.
Miracle shared a photo of Nina and wrote;
May your Birthday bring a Smile to your Face, Happiness to your Heart and many Blessings to your Life. Happy Birthday dear @nina_ivy_
It didn’t take long before the fans began to react to the rather unemotional message. A user wrote;
Miracle where are the “GOALS” you gave us? The “aww”, “kiss”, “hug”, “love, “romance” goals…that’s what made me your fan and why I voted for you…what’s this now? So you scammed us?
