The Borno State Government through the activities of the Task Force officials have raided some illegal hotels within the state and at the same time parading sex workers plying their trades at these hotels.
The State consequently issued a three day demolition notice to all illegal hotel owners within Maiduguri and it’s environs.
The Attorney-General and commissioner of justice Hon. Kaka Shehu Lawan, along side commissioner for Land and survey Borno state Hon. Sugun Mai Mele, issued the three day ultimatum to vacate the area or face the wrath of law. from 29 May 2018 to 02 June to 2018.
The properties slated for Demolishing include illegally acquired land, substandard structures, and construction at inappropriate locations, occupied without document or occupied without document remit. The structures includes:

The Commissioner went further to state, that no one will be spared and the will strictly adhere to the 3days ultimatum notice without extension.
