Fans slam Jude Okoye for splitting Psquare

Jude Okoye, the elder brother of Peter Okoye ‘Mr P’ and Paul Okoye ‘Rude Boy’, has come under attack following a comment he dropped on Wizkid’s page following the successful Afro Republik concert he held in London.

Nigerian music lovers who reacted to the comment, accused Jude Okoye who was the manager of the defunct Psquare group of splitting his twin brothers. Some of the comments were about doing nothing to reconcile his brothers, and not helping upcoming artistes as some claimed he is now irrelevant in the Nigerian music industry.

Here is the post and the banter that came with it below;

After months of speculations on their uncertain future, Peter and Paul Okoye a.k.a Psquare finally went their separate ways last September, and there has been no sign that the singing twin brothers will reunite again. Peter demanded for a termination of the agreement as a group based on serious allegations against his twin Paul and their elder brother and manager, Jude. He accused Paul of no longer willing to co-operate with him, and even gone as far as cancelling their scheduled music tour to the United States.

Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. Peter stressed that he was tired of the “drama” and want to end their business relationship. There was even a video which showed the estranged singing duo, P-Square in a heated fight in their lawyer’s office following their disagreement and split.

The fight which was purportedly recorded in a video and trended on the internet showed Paul and Peter Okoye with their elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye in the lawyer’s office. Jude, whose wife gave birth to a baby girl, was seen threatening to beat up Peter who was behind the camera while Paul was heard telling Peter, “shame on you.”

Hours after the video began to trend online, Paul took to his twitter handle @rudeboypsquare to respond; “Wow!!!! And he finally released the all mighty video lol.”
