In preparation for the upcoming 2018 world cup in Russia the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have been mapped out to spend whooping dollars- worth billions of naira- to sponsor 100 Nigerians to Russia to cheer the Super Eagles.
Even if the leadership crisis in the Nigeria football supporters club is resolved before the July 2018 world cup, The Glass House as further gathered, would not drop its already worked out special arrangement to ensure a massive support for the football national team in Russia.
The plan, which has been described as a special arrangement, following the division among the Nigerian Football Supporters Club, has reached advance stage.
Super Eagles’ Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye reportedly explained that the football federation was mindful of the situation with the Supporters Club, which is a private body, and hence have to ensure that the crisis would not in anyway affect Eagles in the world.
