TRAGEDY REPEATS AGAIN AS AKWA IBOM MARKET COLLAPSE.

Two persons have been confirmed dead in the Ibom Market collapse. This is coming after weeks Reigners Assembly church building collapsed in Uyo the state capital.

Several people also sustained various forms of injuries in the Market collapse at Urua Edet Obo, A popular Market at Ikot Akpatek Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The Police commissioner Murtala Mani Confirmed the incident yesterday in a telephone conversation with reporters in Uyo. He said, “Two women died during the tragedy caused by the collapse of an old wall that fell o them”, others, who sustain injuroes have been taken to the hospital in a neighboring town.

The statement issued by the TC Chairman of the Local Government reads, “ The Council wishes to inform the people of the area, the state and indeed the public that the wall of a private shop near the weekly Ederobo Market today collapsed and hit eight market Women, who sustained various injuries, we were quick to mobilize and rush the injured to the hospital, they are all receiving treatment now.
