Following Protest by Youths in the some towns in Southern Kaduna Area of the State, a dusk to Dawn Curfew has been imposed in the Towns.
The protesting residents were calling for help over the slaughter of their kins by herdsmen and were expressing their sadness over the inability of Security Agencies to put an end to these killings that have claimed many lives and property.
Nathiel Cheweson their spokesman, regretted the high level boldness exhibited by the attackers and Government’s failure to protect them. “We are pushed to the wall to question the innocence of the government in what has been happening”
The Interim Chairman of Jema’a Bege Katuka confirmed the curfew. He said. “As a responsible Government, it was incumbent on the council to take proactive measures to guarantee the protection of lives and property of citizens” He urged the people to remain calm and indoors till situation normalizes.
