Ekweremadu Tells Buharia: Release Nnamdi Kalu Now

The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has called on the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kalu, the Director General of the Radio Biafra in the interest of national unity.

Senator Ekweremadu made the call during the South East Economic and Security Summit held in Enugu on Thursday 22nd December 2016

He said that the continued detention of Mazi Kalu is seen as marginalization of the Igbos race and asked for the Igbos to be included in government for peace to reign. He decried the fact that no Igbo was appointed as a security chief.
