Hearing her best friend Kim Kardashian had been robbed at gunpoint shattered Chrissy Teigen’s heart.
The model, who is married to Kanye West’s best pal John Legend, has revealed how she reacted to the news that Kim, 35, had been robbed at gunpoint at her Paris apartment earlier this month.
Mother-of-one Chrissy, 30, spoke to Us Weekly at the Mohegan Sun’s 20th Anniversary Party, where she admitted that she found out about the shocking incident when footage emerged of Kanye stopping his set at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in the middle of his set.
“I was really scared,” Chrissy said. “I knew something was really wrong when that video of [Kanye West] running off stage [at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival] came about. … He’s not the type to do that. I remember my heart sank, and to hear the full story, it was really scary. It could have happened to anybody.”
The model continued: “Hearing the details and knowing she has babies at home and that she’s so sweet, open and honest, you don’t think that kind of thing could happen.”
Chrissy, who recently made her Twitter account private in a shock move, admitted that reality shows and social media could have played a part in Kim being a target for the multi-million dollar raid.
