Chinese Woman Deliver a Baby With No Eye

The condition Anophthalmia is said to affect one in every 100,000 children, and it means that the boy will never be able to see. A woman in Guangzhou, China, was devastated to find her son was born with an eye condition which means he has little or no eye tissue.

The child’s mother, named Liu Peihua, gave birth on September 20 and is now talking with specialists at a larger hospital in Guangzhou to get a thorough examination of the baby.

Liu Peihua’s family say Liu attended every antenatal check and was not informed with any unusual results.
